Culture spots:
Worth visiting are the beautiful art cities of Cagli, Urbino, Urbania, the stunning Abazia of San Vincenzo in Acqualagna; the interesting Museum of the Furlo Gorge; the historical Via Flaminia numerous archeological sites around the area will allow you to go back in time to the Roman era.

Nature spots:
The Riserva Naturale Statale Gola del Furlo: a spectacular canyon with stunning high limestone subvertical walls, in which the river Candigliano flows through, and the undisputed Kingdom of the queen of the skies: the great Golden Eagle. This place must be explored not just for its fantastic nature but also its history. Worth visiting is the Monte delle Cesane massif (648 metres above sea level), which contains 1400 hectares of public forest between Fossombrone and Urbino.

The hotel:
The Villa Furlo country house lies at the foot of the massif of the Furlo, at the exit of the famous and spectacular Furlo Gorge in Fermignano and not far from the emerald waters of the river Candigliano. The food is typical of the Montefeltro and central northern Apennine areas. The prized white truffle of Acqualagna obviously reigns at the tables, as well as black truffle, mushtrooms, homemade pasta, local cured meats and typical desserts, all specialities of the house.

Accomodation:
Double and triple rooms and mini-apartments are available. The rooms are made up of a ground floor plus mezzanine floor each with its own bath and shower. All rooms have a TV and WiFi services. There is a safe in the rooms. Both mini-apartments and rooms have wooden beam ceilings with original iron decoration.

How to get there:
It is reached via the Rome-Fano dual carriageway, take the exit for Calmazzo and follow the signs for Agriturismo Villa Furlo, about 1 km from Gola del Furlo, located in the green coolness of nature.
